Odessey. step into an intellectual wandering, the aim of the design is to provide visitors with educational background information about Jurong, for the site being located within Jurong Gateway. introducing lush greenery to the space will also enhance biodiversity of the space. planting language also follows the upcoming plans for Jurong Lake District.

educational plant walk to educate visitors about various types of plants and their uses.
to relate back to the past where Jurong used to be a coastal and mangrove swamp.
to make use of existing exterior wall of library; to allow projection of documentaries onto the wall at night for educational purposes; to serve as a gathering space in the daytime.
an area to promote nature play; play equipment are made of natural elements and materials.
an outdoor area with educational signboards placed around to educate visitors about Jurong's history
service area with parking lots for vehicles, for example mobile library. visitors can borrow a book from mobile library and sit at resting area to read. resting area is 24/7 accessible and has many basic amenities.
a vegetated and naturalised path linking users from Jurong East MRT to Singapore Science Centre
